seaworthy
hi new to the site. i am looking at buying a 2005 Robalo 260 and was wondering if it is 100% composite or was there any wood involved in the fabrication process? any info will help. thanks
ReelPlumber
Stringer system is all composite and foam filled, the transom is solid ceramic poured. I believe the only wood is the divider bulkhead in the anchor storage compartment, the backing for the bolster and the removable hatch insite the console to access the electronics. At least that is all I saw at the pland and on my 2007 R240. Hope this helps.

2-N-TOW
Only if you go down in pitch a couple of inches. I would be very reluctant to try and push it on one with the normal prop as it would place a heck of a strain on the good engine...excessive pressure in the cylinders possible causing pre-detonation and excessive strain on lower unit gears due to being over-propped for conditions. Howarda780
Seaworthy: What engine did you go with? I have twin Yam 150’s and looking to upgrade to 200’s. Just wondering about the weight?
Chester
When did Robalo go with composite structure vs wood? I'm looking at a 2003 - 2004 21' foot center console
2-N-TOW
Hi Chester and welcome to the forum. I think it was 2001-2002 time frame, just after Chaparral purchased Robalo. If you are a member on TheHullTruth, send a pm to Joebalo...he is one of their reps on that site.
