2-N-TOW
Had our first official member join 6 years ago today! ReelPlumber had the honors of being the first! We then announced what a few of us had been doing in our spare time on the "other forum", and this is what we have today! Thanks to all that have contributed to this board and may we see many more years here!
rotorwrench
The above administrator and ReelPlumber are responsible for keeping this forum afloat. Let us not leave out Mr Robalo, the resident wealth of all things Robalo. The "other forum" original site is where the friendships started and developed into Robalohaulics, the flush club may have had something to do with it. When the old site administrator went out to sea, the need/want for the new site evolved!
2-N-TOW
We had some real "characters" on that other site. Lots of fun, but like you said in another post, a lot of good information was left behind when we created this one. Darn straight about not mentioning Mr. Robalo...he was the third official member (only because Lee and me beat him to it!). He had a lot to do with the planning of the new site and did a darn good job of keeping our little secret until the unveiling.
mrrobalo
Gentlemen this sight wouldn't be still growing without all of us lending a helping hand on our cyber docks . The best part is now frendships have grown along with it. Meeting the people we talk to on here has lent its hand to getting together when we can. I just want to say thanks Dan And Lee for keeping the site going strong and I'm sure others do to. WoW what a good feeling and the six years have flew by. Gary
Happy 6th B'day Robaloboatowners.net...What a great site with great people..Thanks to Dan, Lee (even though he no longer owns a Robalo) and Mr. Robalo for making such a beautiful baby.... ReelPlumber
I want to thank everyone that has joined and supported the site. If it weren't for the members all we would have to do is model shorts! Although I don't currently own a Robalo I will always be a Robalohaulic. Robalo was my first offshore boat and I had no complaints about it. I will continue to surf the cyber docks here and add my 1-1/2 cents. Besides.....someone needs to aggravate Dan! scott's yott
This is without a doubt my favorite forum to be a part of. Never knew what a Robalo was until I bought one(didn't even know then until showing the first pic here and Sammy- joe told me what it was). I haven't yet been able to do the projects I would like to her , but I know by coming on here the advise would be spot on. I also feel like I could travel the entire east coast (and beyond) and have a friend to visit or spend a day fishing with(even though I have never met any of you). It's a great group with great admins ( even if their shorts are a bit questionable)....Please keep this place going for another 6 years and more
Schmidtm3
as a hopelessly lost new owner, browsing the last 6 years worth of Data has really helped me get a handle on what's going where in my boat. Thanks for all you do and congrats on 6 years!
First Timer
And to think I bought a Robalo because of the original site... Met up with Mr. R himself... started my rehab of my '76 200... went fishing with Lee & Mr. R out to the"stream" and caught some feesh... Hassled Dan for MANY years still waiting for him to finish his DVD series on grinding & glassin... Got way to many ideas to "redo" mine.... Keep up the great work guys and I too am proud to be a part of this forum and many thanks for keeping it safe and running. Hope I dont run out of time before the site admin. staff retires... :yahoo_rotfl:
