Couldn't leave out the boy....big grins were had by all! 47 mph on the GPS once we got the trim angle in the sweet spot! Not bad for a 78 model 115hp. Fast enough for me.....she'll take your hat and your sunglasses right off your head!

She looks great for 36 year old boat.

Be careful not to over rev that old motor.

They sound perfect until something explodes inside .

Been there, done that.

Nothing like pulling in somewhere and have people look and complement you on your great looking ROBALO . The best part is the look on there face when you tell them how old she is. Yea that's what makes one forget about the work you put in her.

Both looking great.

Nice looking boat! I am restoring an 180 right now and was wondering if you could post a couple of pictures of the wood hatch covers 1 in front and the 2 in the rear. I'm mostly not sure on the bottom of the hatches and how they stay in. Thanks.

Winshima, sorry I just saw your request (a year later) . If you still need pics of the hatch covers let me know.

What a great boat for the NC area and the sound. I never knew Robalo made a trihull skiff type boat.

I also have a 1978 CC but thanks to Photoripoff my pics are deleted in my resto thread.
