lenco trim tab stuck down

Hello.

I have a 1999 Robalo 2440 and have the port side trim tab stuck down.

and as a result the boat rides with a list to starboard.

I have read how to fix it online, but has anyone else experienced this?

How do I remove the pin that connects the piston to the tab?

Is it a screw or do I just hammer it out?

Also where can the control box be found? and fuse?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Much thanks -Paul

I don't have Lenco's, but my guess is that a bolt is what connects the actuator to the tab. Control box should be somewhere under the transom seat area. Hopefully someone else with Lenco's will be more help.

Those arent Lencos, those are the factory installed boat leveler tabs. Fuse is located behind the dash about a foot or so away from the tab switch. However if that fuse pops, you lose all control of the tabs. Can you hear the pump running when you depress the switch?
