I'm new to the forum but wanted to share some pics of the rod holders I added to my 2016 R200. I was lacking some in the transom area for trolling. I used small aluminum strips for backing plates. Look pretty good. It was a bit scary cutting 2" holes in my boat.

Just bought an Etec 200hp to replace the 130 hp Yammie that was on my R200. The Etec is almost 200 lbs heavier than the old motor so I'm looking for prop suggestions that will give me some stern lift. I'm willing to listen to all points of view and not specifically BRP products. Thanks in advance

OK folks, I haven't even pulled the boat out of the water yet (planned for 8/13) but I've already started to prototype a new console for her. I did the prototype with foam. The actual console will be cored with 1/2" marine plywood with 2 layers of 1708 inside and 3 layers outside. First pic: Batteries will be under seat. Second pic: Steering will be on lower vertical surface (it's where I prefer it), engine controls and switch panel on the sloping surface, electronics bay on top. Lower right side will have storage. Last pic: profile view from left side I'd appreciate any comments on the concept including design flaws. Larry (I'll keep the pics coming as this project develops)

I bought a used 2007 Etec 200 HO to repower my 1975 Robalo R200 and have no idea where to start as far as prop for this setup. This is a very heavy hull so I'm thinking a 4 bladed prop will be needed. The setup is also stern heavy due to 200+ lbs of additional weight over the 130 Yamaha (way underpowered) that was on it. I've already planned on moving the 3 batteries to the console to help re-balance the boat. Anyone have suggestions on where to start as far as testing props for this setup?

I have a 2016 R200 and want to find a fiberglass tackle box to install where the removable cooler is (under the bolster seats). Does anyone have any info on one or already completed the mod? Thanks in advance.

Just bought a dual torsion axle BoatMaster trailer to haul the boat with. It has fixed, 2x12, upright bunks (2" edge up) that are 64" apart. Should I replace the bunks with adjustable ones? If so, I need to know how far off the center-line of the trailer they should be and at what angle in relation to the trailer.

Can anyone help me out? I'm planning on replacing the gas tank on my 1975 R200 next off-season and would like to order the tank in advance of the work starting but I need dimensions. I also need recommendations concerning the order of work because I'll also be replacing the transom. Should I do the tank before the transom? All work will be done while the boat is on it's trailer. Thanks in advance.

Please if you have any questions please ask , only thing the boat could use is gps/depth finder they both took a dump on me this year both lowrance dash mounted, and the trailer needs a rebuild I only go 6 miles each way to the water so I haven't bothered.
