  1. Hi all, Picked up an 84' Robalo 2660 walk-around with twin 06' Evinrude 150 DIs. Boat was a flower pot but at $2k with at least one working motor and about 100 hrs, the deal was sealed. Deck is in good order, but cabin is trashed. Transom warrants further inspection but rot is expected for a 30+ year old boat. Pics and project sure to follow. Any comments on the hull/ motors? Seems like it would be way under-powered for a 26' cuddy, but I'm in no rush. Hoping to learn lots here. Cheers from Bermuda!
  2. 1996 Robalo 26ft 2660 Walk Around with twin Merc 225's. $16000 Boat shows very well, with typical ware.. Boat specs: 5370lbs, 8'6" beam, Stainless props, hydraulic steering, hydraulic trim tabs, MSD Head, dinette, 120v Refrigerator, Sink, 20gal fresh water holding tank, Elect/oil two burner stove, 30 amp shore power, twin batt charger, windlass, raw water wash down, LED base lighting, blue underwater lighting, cushions inside / out recently replaced, Hard top with canvas, Front canvas replaced, 208gal fuel tank replaced in 2004. New counter rotating lower unit replaced last season. Both hydraulic trim units and one alternator replaced this season. ELECTRONICS: FURUNO GPS/Fish finder, Raytheon 24mi Radar, iPad hook up for secondary GPS, New VHF radio and antenna. FISHING: two fish lockers with macerator pump out, live bait well, 4 drawer tackle storage, Cannon down rigger, 5 rocket launchers in hardtop, 4 holders in gunnels, 4 storage holders in cabin. Boat is in the water at Boardwalk Marina, Stratford, CT. Items to be addressed - remote spotlight, windshield wiper, speed gauge and rear shower does not work. ALL lights, switches and gauges work except speed. "current use GPS for speed" **No Trailer** Contact me at anthonyjanderson@gmail.com
  3. I have a '93 2660 that has a Y pipe connecting the 2 kill boxes together which then runs to a macerator pump. I am planning on using silicone to make a seal for them as they fill up with water after rain or cleaning. The pump never fully drains the lines, the water will only go just barely below the box drain holes. I want to put in some check valves to keep water in the drain lines from back filling into the boxes however there isn't a way to really access under the drains. I could put 1 in line by the macerator but I don't think that would keep the water from backing into the boxes. Any ideas? I could remove the drain fittings but a check valve won't fit through the hole for the drains.
  4. Hello, I'd like to introduce myself. I purchased a 1994 2660 in August of 2011. Boat still has the original Merc 200 2 strokes on it and they run great. The absolutely guzzle fuel though... I am thinking of repowering in the next year or so and was wondering if anyone has filled in the open transom and put an outboard bracket on their boat? I enjoy the hull but have a 1 year old boy who will be fishing with me in a few years and I want something a little more kid friendly. I am replacing the electronics with Raymarine E7 plotter, new transducer, radar, vhf, as well as new canvas/eisenglass.
